About the Role

We're searching for an experienced IT Specialist to join our mighty IT Operations team. This individual is a master of written and verbal communication and can easily simplify technical jargon and complexities while providing exceptional remote and in-person support. In addition to ensuring the success of our client's day-to-day technology operations, you'll have a significant influence on the growth of the IT Operations team and will work closely with management to continuously improve our internal technology stack, support processes, project management workflows, security protocols, and documentation.

Our idea of a perfect candidate is someone who is an excellent communicator, has a desire to help people, and a strong sense of empathy for their needs. A master problem solver with a black belt in Google-Fu, and a firm understanding of Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android operating systems, cloud-based solutions, on-premise network and server infrastructure, and knowledge of best practice IT operations.


  • Provide exceptional remote and in-person support at client locations (from Boston to Cape Cod, and sometimes you may need to hop on a plane)
  • Respond, track, update, and resolve support requests in a timely manner
  • Provide support for network and server infrastructure, laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, phones, network-connected devices, and peripherals
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve client and internal documentation
  • Procurement, configuration, and tracking of IT assets (infrastructure, workstations, phones, peripherals, supplies, etc.)


  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience supporting and administrating on-premise and cloud-based system such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, Teams, Slack, GoToMeeting, Zoom, RingCentral, Dialpad, Meraki, Ubiquiti, SonicWall, FortiGate, WatchGuard, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
  • Desire to help people, and a strong sense of empathy for their needs
  • Genuinely a nice human
  • Willingness to learn new things, and an aptitude for technology
  • Excellent written and spoken English – Short form (emails/chats/texts) and long form (documentation)
  • Professional hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting incidents (end users/systems) remotely and in-person
  • Reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to client locations around Boston and Cape Cod.

Bonus points:

  • Professional hands-on experience utilizing MSP and multi-tenant systems
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA
  • Current with the latest and upcoming technology (hardware/software) and IT standards

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary commensurate with experience ($50K - $70K)
