IT Support Specialist - I

We’re hiring an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Kennebunk.
This is a hands-on, in-office role supporting day-to-day technical needs across the company. You’ll be the first line of defense for IT issues and will have the opportunity to work across multiple systems, support a range of technologies, and grow your skill set over time.

What You’ll Do

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, network connectivity, and common hardware/software issues
• Install and configure new devices, user accounts, and software
• Manage your own queue of support tickets and documentation
• Support patching, backups, and systems health monitoring
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve more complex issues
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience in help desk, desktop support, or IT support (internships, MSPs, or hands-on roles all count)
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve common issues independently
• Comfortable working in a small, high-expectation team
• Willingness to learn and take initiative

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Active Directory or ticketing systems
• Exposure to compliance environments (CMMC, ITAR, etc.)
• Interest in advancing into sysadmin or security roles over time

Additional Details

• Work location: Primarily on-site in Kennebunk, ME (some remote flexibility available after onboarding)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• On-call: Rare, with support from senior IT staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
