Janitorial Supervisor

Job Description: The Janitorial Supervisor provides supervises and provides on-the-job-training and support to workers with disabilities via person-centered employment programs. Supervise a crew of 3-5 adults with a variety of abilities and disabilities as they provide commercial custodial services in the Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum, and Athol areas.

• $300 Sign on Bonus after 90 Days for Full Time
• $150 Sign on Bonus after 90 Days Part Time

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist janitorial crew on meeting the exact specifications of the customer and the contract.
• Consistently monitor the quality of work being performed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for all contracts; provide manager and/or customer with supply requests as needed.
• Work with the manager to carry out action plans used to control wages, inventory and equipment.
• Assign daily job duties to the crew members.
• Ensure all policies, procedures and core values are adhered to on the job.
• Maintain records as to staff payroll, training data, etc.
• Ensure that monthly training is provided to crew members including safety drills.
• Maintain strong working rapport with team members including any support or training that a “client” staff member may need to ensure they are doing their job correctly.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• One-year supervisory experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and good driving record.
• Must complete an obtain clearance for Criminal History, with fingerprinting, employment references, and pre-hire drug screen required.
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Wage: Starting at $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hr. Shift
• Day Shift
• Monday to Friday

Benefits:

• Employees working an average of 25 hours/week for three months, they will be eligible for pro-rated health care benefits including medical, dental& vision.
• Paid holiday, sick and vacation are also pro-rated.
• If working 36 hours/ week or more, eligible for full benefits.
