Position Summary:

Restore Hope is establishing a Judicial Services Division dedicated to expanding court-based initiatives, facilitating legal resolution services, advancing public policy, supporting educational opportunities, and addressing reentry barriers. This division aims to enhance legal outcomes, reduce recidivism, and promote healthier individuals, families, and communities.

To support this expansion, Restore Hope is hiring a Judicial Services Specialist to play a key role in implementing and coordinating these initiatives. This position will work closely with court coordinators, legal professionals, and statewide partners to improve legal resolution processes, develop educational opportunities, and support reentry efforts.

Ideal candidates will be meticulous, self-motivated problem solvers who are flexible, organized, efficient, and technologically proficient. They should be able to multitask, prioritize effectively, and communicate professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Position Qualifications:

Job Experience

  • Experience in the judicial system, legal services, or related fields
  • Knowledge of court operations, case management, legal resolution processes, or compliance auditing
  • Experience with administrative support, data entry, and program coordination
  • Background in procedural implementation, program development, or justice-related initiatives preferred
  • Experience in education, community-based training programs, reentry services, or resource development

Skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage data, maintain records, and assist with reporting
  • Technological proficiency with case management systems, database platforms, and digital tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive legal and policy-related matters
  • Proficiency in social media content creation and marketing materials
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment
  • Ability to develop and deliver educational programs or training material
  • Knowledge of best practices in diversion programming, restorative justice, reentry support, and education delivery

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, public administration, legal studies, social work, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent work experience in court operations, justice programs, legal services, or reentry initiatives may be considered in lieu of a degree

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the implementation and coordination of the Smart Justice Court Initiative, including providing support to court coordinators and assisting with statewide expansion efforts
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure judicial initiatives align with program standards and goals
  • Support the facilitation of intervention programs, ensuring alignment with justice system goals and best practices
  • Track and report on progress for ongoing initiatives to ensure timely execution and monitor outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of HopeHub, specifically focusing on legal resolution efforts
  • Provide legal resolution information by addressing driver’s services, criminal history, court obligations, and sealing services for participants
  • Provide direct assistance to individuals navigating the legal system
  • Collaborate with court coordinators, legal professionals, and community organizations to identify and address barriers to legal resolution and reentry
  • Develop and assist in creating educational content for family advocates and stakeholders, including members of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches
  • Develop and implement educations training and resource materials
  • Provide logistical and operational support for events, meetings, trainings, and engagements
  • Liaise with reentry service providers to enhance support systems for justice-involved individuals
  • Coordinate and assist with marketing efforts, including creating and distributing materials for judicial services
  • Assist with the creation and curation of social media content to promote judicial services initiatives
  • Assist in organizing resources and tools for judicial services
