Kennel Attendant

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean kennels, cages, and animal areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to supervisor
- Assist in administering medications
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Help with basic dog socialization activities

- Administrative tasks i.e. Answering the phone, responding to emails, scheduling clients

Skills:
- Experience in animal care or related field such as veterinary or pet grooming
- Ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and confidence
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when needed to move animals or supplies
- Knowledge of basic pet care including feeding schedules and exercise needs
- Familiarity with kennel operations and maintaining cleanliness in animal living spaces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
