Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking an energetic, reliable dishwasher and kitchen assistant for our very busy organic and local foods kitchen. This entry level position holds opportunities to learn and grow into food preparation and other roles in the operation.

Duties include:

• Simple food preparation: includes slicing and shredding ingredients for recipes
• Packaging and labeling prepared foods for the case
• Assisting all cook's stations with needs for supplies, pantry ingredients and tools
• Receiving and stocking deliveries
• Keeping storage organized
• Machine washing all food prep equipment and containers
• Cleaning all other equipment
