Job Description:
- Build deck projects from start to finish in a timely manner
- Understand industry specific knowledge that each project may require
- Follow work orders and plans to ensure that each project is built high-quality and to Voyager’s specifications
- Make executive decisions regarding the installation process
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for our clients and communicate daily with the Project Manager
- Delegate, coach, and lead crew team members when appropriate
- Ensuring crew team members are on task and working 40 hours per week
- Interact with clients as needed
- Before job start, take inventory of materials to ensure the materials are the correct size, color, quantity, etc.
- Cover, protect and organize materials and tools when leaving the job site
- Deferring potential customer, employee, and material/inventory issues to the Project Manager
- Checking with the Project Manager for directions on inclement weather days
- Uphold high company standards including appropriate workwear, tobacco and alcohol free worksites, professional language, non-offensive music with appropriate volumes and maintaining overall cleanliness
- Upkeep and maintenance of company vehicle and trailer
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment
- All other duties as assigned and as needed
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and fast communication is an absolute must
- Strong organizational skills is also an absolute must
- Proven experience in deck building is required
- Management experience is preferred
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be a self-starter

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
