We are hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Team Leader / Construction Crew Leader to run residential remodeling projects in the field.

Position Overview

The Lead Carpenter / Remodeling Team Leader is responsible for leading residential remodeling projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on construction leadership role that includes skilled carpentry, crew leadership, and jobsite management.

You will lead production on interior remodeling, carpentry, and home renovation projects while mentoring an apprentice and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production on residential remodeling projects
• Supervise an apprentice or helper and maintain jobsite productivity
• Perform skilled carpentry and remodeling work, including:
• Demolition
• Framing
• Trim and finish carpentry
• Drywall and painting
• Flooring installation
• Door and window installation
• Exterior repair work
• Read construction plans and remodeling drawings
• Take accurate measurements and layouts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized construction jobsite
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and office staff
• Manage material takeoffs, jobsite materials, and pickups
• Complete punch lists and ensure high-quality remodeling work
• Deliver projects on time and to company standards

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction or remodeling
• Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter, Remodeling Foreman, or Crew Leader preferred
• Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills
• Ability to complete interior remodeling projects independently
• Experience supervising helpers or apprentices
• Ability to read construction drawings and remodeling plans
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Safety-focused mindset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

• Tile Installation
• Gutter installation
• Floor Installation
• Kitchen or bathroom remodeling

Schedule

Monday – Friday
Approximately 40–45 hours per week

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
