Full job description

PPM Solar is actively seeking a skilled electrician to join our expanding team. While previous solar experience is appreciated, it's not a requirement. We are looking for someone with residential electrical contracting experience, proven electrical proficiency, strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Secure mounting structures to roofs.
  • Conduct electrical wiring (both AC and DC).
  • Handle utility interconnections from inverter output.
  • Pull and terminate conductors up to 750MCM.
  • Complete all job-related documentation.
  • Regularly participate in training and safety sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness at job sites.
  • Perform car charger and battery installations.
  • Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, trenchers, and skid steers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience, Journeyman's license is a plus
  • Own necessary tools and possess the ability to work without constant supervision.
  • Proficient in handling PVC, EMT, IMC, and RMC conduit up to 4".
  • Must have current OSHA 30 certification or be able to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and working in various weather conditions. Your commitment to safety will be key.

Schedule:
