Lead Painter

We’re looking for a committed employee to join our team as a Lead Painter. The position includes doing the following tasks:

• Work on a project alone or lead a team.
• Give on-site training to painters and preppers and ensure that their team is upholding the
• standards set by Bay View Painting.
• Make sure job sites are set up properly, and a safe clean workspace is provided.
• Set daily goals, and make sure the team understands them.
• Frequently check in with the team to ensure goals are being met, and quality is assured.
• Ensure the project sight stays clean and organized throughout the day and at the end of it.
• Fill out and maintain the project checklist.
• Provide the Project Manager with any material/equipment needed before the end of the Workday.
• Have conversations with contractors/clients about project flow and be able to answer day-to-day questions.
• Handle small disciplinary issues.

The hourly rate is $25 with the opportunity for advancement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the painting project process.
• Finish painting skills.
• Able to lead a team.
• Can give and take directions.
• Time management.
• Positive attitude.
• Organized.
• Ability to train and help the team grow.
• Communication skills (give constructive feedback).
• Driver’s license and vehicle required

Location:

Bay View Painting is located in Rockland, Maine, and we provide our services anywhere from Brunswick to Belfast.
