Lead Painter – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bilingual Lead Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and materials, with a focus on residential projects. This role requires leadership abilities to ensure quality workmanship, and maintain safety standards on site. The Lead Painter will be responsible for executing painting projects from start to finish while adhering to project specifications and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of painters on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by caulking, plastering, and applying necessary primers.
• Execute interior or exterior painting tasks using various techniques, brush, roller, or spray techniques.
• Make minor carpentry fixes (wood & siding replacement) as needed.
• Read and interpret project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Coordinate work schedules and report project progress.
• Train junior painters in techniques, safety protocols, and best practices in the field.
• Communicate professionally with clients, schedule tasks, and ensure projects stay on time

Experience

• Proven experience as a painter is essential. Min 3 years of painting experience.
• Expert prep and finish skills, with high attention to detail
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• Basic carpentry knowledge for exterior repairs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
