Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Learning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience by implementing the personalized learning curriculums for students of our collective.

We need someone intuitive, passionate, and effective with concrete learning materials and strategies.

This position requires a nurturing and passionate background working with and for the well-being of children, curriculum development, and the ability to communicate educational concepts clearly.

The Learning Specialist will work closely with the BBC team to ensure that all learning initiatives meet the needs of our learners and their families.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement engaging curriculum and instructional materials tailored to various learning styles.
• Collaborate with BBC families and the BBC team to assess educational needs and provide training on instructional best practices.
• Educate and support learners in using technology effectively within the classroom setting.
• Conduct Progress Review Meetings for families and submit notes on student progress
• Communicate regularly with leadership to gather feedback and improve learning programs.

Experience

• Experience working with homeschooled, world schooled, or unschooled children
• Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design is helpful.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, particularly Google Classroom, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of SCORM standards for e-learning content is a plus.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging educational materials.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
• Experience in classroom settings or educational environments is preferred.
