**Offering a $5,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for LCSW or LCSW-R**
The Family Counseling Center of Fulton County, a mental and behavioral health clinic located in the heart of the Mohawk Valley is seeking candidates for Outpatient Therapist at our Gloversville, NY location. The organization, founded in 1976, works with individuals, children, and families throughout a six-county area with focus on clients in the Fulton and Montgomery County region. Over the past 45 years, the organization has built deep roots with community partners and become a trusted source for support, focusing on the individual empowerment of clients.
LCSW
As a LCSW you will be providing individual, family, and group therapy for our clients who range in age from 5 years and up. On-site medical providers work in collaboration with therapists to ensure clients’ best understand their mental health, medication, and individual treatment plans.
Schedule: 40-hr work week scheduled Monday-Friday during hours of operation
Ideal candidates for the position will have the following:
- New York State licensed LCSW, LCSW-R required
- LMSW candidates within 3-months of LCSW testing date will be considered
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional mental health experience preferred
- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to treat all DSM 5 mental health disorders in a manner consistent with ethical and proven therapy techniques
- Cleared and maintain verification under mandated criminal background screenings for all Federal and State Agency regulations
- Patience, empathy, and strong desire to help others with an understanding of socio-economic factors in client care
- Ability to work in a team culture with a collaborative focus on care
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong computer skills and ability to effectively complete electronic health records (EHR), including required OMH documentation, safety, and treatment plans

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,500.00 - $70,000.00 per year
