Paradise Found Massage & Day Spa, a local’s favorite spa servicing clients in the Tidewater area since 2012. We are very proud to offer quality service at every visit with the best therapists and technicians in a relaxing atmosphere.

What we are looking for:

A Licensed Esthetician. Must have no less than 1 full year of on-the-job experience working in a Spa Environment performing Waxing and Facial services. Candidate must be highly capable of performing waxing services and facials with no training.

Our esthetics department is in the early stage of developing. While we have all the supplies for you to be successful, we need someone who is motivated, has the flexibility, the time, and the drive to build clientele. You must be passionate about your skill and making people feel comfortable in their skin.

You must be personable, dependable and punctual.

Team players are a must! Being comfortable lending a hand to other team members and being a part of keeping our spa environment clean and comfortable is part of the job description!

Position:

The position will start as on-call, with potential for full-time based on client growth, typically within 6-12 months. Once clientele is steady during shift hours, we would like to make this more of a full-time position. We are flexible with hours but would prefer a candidate who has some evening and weekend availability.

We offer an employee position OR a contractor position.

Skills Required:

• Ability to perform Quality Waxing and Facials with no additional service training.
• No less than one year on the job experience working as an Esthetician in a Spa Environment.
• Valid Esthetician License.
• Knowledge of skin types and appropriate products for each, in order to perform custom services for what the client's needs are.
• A collaborative attitude is essential as we work together to maintain the spa’s exceptional reputation.
• Maintaining the privacy of the client, and keeping notes after each service, providing a summary of what you did and any findings that may be important, or may apply if the client returns.

Skills Preferred:

• Eyelash/Eyebrow tinting and henna knowledge.
• Knowledge of Skin Script RX Products.
• Knowledge of Circadia Products.
• Knowledge of Esthemax HydroJelly® masks.

Pay & Benefits

Start pay is tiered and is determined by skill/experience level.

Pay is Biweekly, direct deposited.

The Salary listed includes Hourly pay and commission on services. (Tips & Commission on Skin Care products you sell are not included in the listed salary in this Job description)

While we do not pressure you to sell our facial products, (We don't pressure our clients to do anything!) we do offer a commission for skin care products you sell! - There is room to make much more than hourly pay listed above.

We offer free personalized business cards for you to hand out and promote yourself!

We also run ads promoting services and run specials to help build your clientele!

We have a heavy stream of Massage Therapy Clients that will be happy to hear we have Professional Facial and Waxing Services.
