Job responsibilities include:

· Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used

· Consult with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage be beneficial or not

· Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues of the human body in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance

· Prepare and blend oils, and apply the blends to clients' skin

· Discuss with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, physicians, and psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for clients

· Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients

· Prepares treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials, and performing procedure within the scope of massage services.

· Regularly participate in quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with practice standards and payer regulations

· Participates, markets, and educates our community partners with regular participation in community outreach initiatives.

· Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by assisting scheduling appointments and faxing, scanning, filing and/or mailing records as needed.

· Assists with patient accounts by obtaining, verifying, recording, and updating personal and financial information while filing and expediting third-party claims.

· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Ensures operation of massage therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, and calling for repairs.

· Serves and protects the company by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

Education and experience requirements:

· Licensed Massage Therapist

· Current CPR certification and all required renewals

· Physical demands include the ability to demonstrate exercise, prolonged standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Schedule: Flexible and variable.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
