Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate NYS Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from pain through various massage modalities. This role requires knowledge of muscle groups and massage techniques as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Duties

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including but not limited to deep tissue massage.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing client conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
• Ensure all client records are kept confidential and up-to-date.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure in massage therapy.
• Familiarity with various massage techniques.
• Ability to perform patient assessments effectively to identify areas of concern.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 24 per week
