Licensed Mental Health Professional

We are a growing mental health private practice in Bartlett, TN, currently seeking a passionate, qualified fully-licensed mental health professional to join our practice. Responsibilities:

· Perform initial evaluations of client needs and diagnose mental and/or emotional disorders

· Develop customized treatment plans and case notes according to company policy

· Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and significant others, and uses communication skills to engage them in treatment

· Educate clients on stress and trauma coping mechanisms

· Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals

· Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed

· Remain empathetic and engaged through the duration of every patient’s counseling session

· Refer patients to other mental healthcare providers as necessary

· Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provider patients with the best possible care

· Maintain all required continuing education, licensing, and other professional requirements necessary to provide counseling services in the state of Tennessee

Qualifications:

· Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling or a behavioral science-related field from an accredited college or university

· Fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMFT, Ph.D or Psy.D) with a valid state of TN license or temporary license

· Fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels

· 1-3 yrs experience, including internships and licensure supervision

· Malpractice/liability insurance
