About us

Aerie Healthcare is a specialized outpatient mental health day treatment program that focuses on providing Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services exclusively for adolescents dealing with mental health issues. Located in downtown Concord, New Hampshire, we are passionate about addressing the pressing need for comprehensive behavioral healthcare services tailored to 13-18 year olds of all genders in New Hampshire.

Aerie Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary treatment team. As a crucial member of our organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive clinical services to adolescents in need.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients in the PHP and IOP.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional development.
  • Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting understanding of mental health issues and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with Aerie Healthcare treatment team, parent/guardian(s), and external providers to support program participant discharge and transition planning and execution.
  • Utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, ensure that all services provided are appropriately documented per best practices.
  • Stay informed about best practices, treatment modalities, and developments in the field of mental health.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive, client-centered care.
