Position Overview:
The Licensed Social Worker at Floor23 Care plays a pivotal role in our dedicated team, providing essential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position demands a compassionate, dynamic professional committed to fostering well-being, autonomy, and empowerment among our residents. Responsibilities include assessing individual needs, coordinating comprehensive care plans, and ensuring residents have access to a broad spectrum of services and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental needs of residents, crafting tailored care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and families.
- Implement and monitor care plans, adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs, and promoting residents' independence and social integration.
- Serve as an advocate for residents, ensuring they and their families have access to necessary community resources, educational programs, and social services.
- Provide counseling and support to residents and their families, addressing emotional and adjustment challenges.
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care, contributing to the development of best practices in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Maintain meticulous records, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university, with specialized training or certification in intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Valid LCSW or equivalent licensure in the state of operation.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in social work, with at least 2 years focused on working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective care plans, with a strong foundation in ethical principles and cultural sensitivity.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in team settings and independently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to the highest standards of social work practice.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.5 – 3 per week
