Light/Medium Diesel Mechanic- NO WEEKENDS

Hastings Diesel Performance has been successfully servicing light duty diesel trucks in the New Braunfels and surrounding areas since 2018. We take pride in demonstrating our skill with any repair, maintenance, or performance work order. Customer satisfaction keeps our engine running.

Our team is currently seeking skilled diesel mechanics with a can-do attitude to provide quality repairs and maintenance on light duty diesel trucks.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma. A degree in automotive/diesel technologies is a plus, 5 years of hands-on experience in a diesel engine or HVAC vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnosis are required. You should be able to utilize computer systems used to diagnose vehicle systems, machines, and tools that are essential to the job function.

So lets cut to the chase. We specialize in LIGHT DUTY DIESEL TRUCK REPAIR. Hastings Diesel is looking for someone with personal excellence, someone who challenges themselves daily, and is up to any task. If your not familiar with Duramax, Cummins 5.9/6.7, or Powerstroke 7.3/6.0/6.4/6.7, need not apply. I dont need to babysit and point to everything for you to check, because lets face it, if that were the case I would do the job myself. Looking for a tech who can start from ground zero diagnostics and give a full and thorough report on work orders as well as other recommended repairs and upgrades. We do everything from oil changes and brakes, engine and head gasket rebuilds, and everything in between. If you are familiar with installing fleece coolant bypass kits, cp3 conversion, dcr conversion, cp4 issues, installed FASS units, this may be the job for you. We install intakes and piping kits with custom powder coat that CANNOT get scratched. If you dont have attention to detail, need to apply. At Hastings Diesel Performance we have a clean and organized workspace. The equipment is up to date and maintained on a regular basis. We keep up with the latest computer software to complete any job in house. We limit our vehicles to year model 1997 and newer. Most of our vehicles fall in the 2011 and up year model.

Expected hours: 40 per week
