Full job description
The Carriage House Inn resources from local vendors and is mostly scratch kitchen! We have a huge Catering Operation that provides the true Carriage House experience beyond our restaurant. We are proud that we have many long time employees that work here to create and instill the traditions and experiences at The Carriage House! Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Line Cook Job Responsibilities: Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods Present, garnish and arrange final dishes Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes Handle and store ingredients and food Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils Execute opening and closing procedures Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment Check the quality and freshness of ingredients Accommodate guests/servers special requests Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, slicers, steamers, and fryers, Line Cook Skills / Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal culinary training can be helpful or 2+years experience on a production line high volume preferably
It is important for the candidate for this position to be able to multi task under high volume conditions.
Must be able to work 40/hrs week. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to follow policies and standards of the work place.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and weekdays
All employees receive credit for PTO base on hours worked.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
