Job Summary We are not just looking to add a line cook, we are looking to add the right person to our core team. We are looking for a team member that truly enjoys their job, is friendly and works together with their team to provide the best food and service we can.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential to ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
  • Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily specials or events.
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Utilize various kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Proficiency in knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen tools.
  • Experience working in a restaurant or dietary department is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of food handling regulations and safety practices.
  • Creativity in menu planning and willingness to experiment with new recipes.
