Job Summary We are not just looking to add a line cook, we are looking to add the right person to our core team. We are looking for a team member that truly enjoys their job, is friendly and works together with their team to provide the best food and service we can.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential to ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily specials or events.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Utilize various kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Proficiency in knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen tools.
- Experience working in a restaurant or dietary department is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of food handling regulations and safety practices.
- Creativity in menu planning and willingness to experiment with new recipes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
