Local CDL Truck Driver Hiring Immediately

Looking for a driver for a dump truck outfitted to handle food.

We, at Fertile Earth Worm Farm, take food that is otherwise destined for the landfill and instead send it to feed animals and enrich our soil. Our driver is responsible for picking up food from our customers all over South Florida, operating a dump truck custom outfitted to handle food, keeping food collection bins clean, unloading the food at a farm and cleaning out the truck. This position requires a safe driving record and the physical ability to handle weights of 75+ pounds. Class B CDL license and professional driving experience required. Ability to start early (4 am or earlier) is required. Reliability, dependability, cleanliness and good communication are of the utmost importance.

Currently this contract position is for Mondays and Fridays only (including holidays) with the possibility for a long term position, averaging 15 to 25 hours/week, and we are currently planning to add additional hours and days to the schedule in the next couple of months. Occasional Saturdays may be required in the future.
