Logistics Coordinator

Defend, Inc. is seeking an organized self-starter to provide logistic coordination.

Responsibilities:

Defend Inc. is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee stockroom operations. The Logistics Coordinator will monitor the receiving, storage organization, deliveries, and distribution of shipments. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and consistent operation guaranteeing inventory is managed and distributed to proper retailers and customers as needed. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for efficiently carrying out all duties in the stockroom; including, but not limited to picking, packing, shipping and receiving, moving and transporting boxes weighing 60+ lbs, inventory assessment, in-house quality control, understanding order forms and invoices, logistics and the management of stockroom employees. The logistic coordinator is expected to complete deliveries by driving. If candidate has a personal vehicle, a gas stipend will be available. Please note, we will request to pull the driving record of candidate. This role must be a dedicated and highly organized individual.

Required skills:

· Shopify or Online Sales Fulfillment

· Active Drivers License

· Able to lift 20-60 lbs boxes

· Google Workspace

· Attention to detail

· Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· High level of organization

· Research and problem-solving

Preferred skills:

· Familiarity with Hawaii’s culture and languages, including Hawaiian Pidgin and ‘Olelo Hawai’i.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.67 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
