Looking for Speech Language Pathology Assistants

**We are offering a $1000 sign-on bonus to all bilingual SLPA hires after 180 days of employment

**We are offering a referral bonus for those that refer new hires into the company. The referral bonus will be issued based on the number of clients seen per week, as indicated below:

• $2000 for full-time employees seeing at least 25 clients per week
• $1750 for therapists seeing 20-24 clients per week
• $1500 for therapists seeing 15-20 clients per week
• $1000 for therapists seeing 10-15 clients per week

The new hires must be employed with Empowered for Life for at least 6 months to qualify for the referral bonus. The person referring the new hire must also be employed with Empowered for Life six months after the new hire joins the company.

Responsibilities
* Assist SLP in providing clinic/center-based speech therapy services in our Walnut, CA or San Dimas, CA clinic.

*If you would like to provide "in-home" speech therapy services, our clients reside in the San Gabriel Valley area in cities such as El Monte, Azusa, Pomona, Covina, Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, Walnut, Baldwin Park, San Dimas, La Verne, to name a few.

* Assist SLP in developing therapy and treatment plans for various disorders
* Document and store treatment plans and progress reports
* Update patient progress to relevant parties
* Research related problems associated with speech therapy

Qualifications
* Valid SLPA license
* Some experience is preferred but excellent training will be provided for the right candidate
* Familiarity with communication disorders
* Ability to build rapport with patients, parents and caregivers
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Positive patient demeanor

* Reliable mode of transportation to commute to see clients

* Excellent work ethic and a desire to grow

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
