Our Administrator is also an RN and understands the challenges and rewards of nursing.

We employ Medication Assistants that pass the majority of the medications allowing our nurses to have more time to spend with the resident's and completing charting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain and uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
• Address patient and family concerns, providing information and support as needed.
• Manage patient care plans, ensuring they are updated and followed.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN certification (required). RN license is a plus.
• Proficiency in general patient care.
• Experience with PointClickCare a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, particularly in geriatrics.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts, holidays, and overtime.
• Willingness to work a 3x12 hour shift schedule with rotating weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
