The administrative offices for the Community are located in the Motherhouse where the Recreational Care Coordinator will be working. The Motherhouse is also the home of retired Sisters and those who assist with services for the Community.

Summary of Position

The Recreational Care Coordinator provides nursing care to Sisters with consideration of individual needs, physician’s orders, and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures. The Recreational Care Coordinator coordinates and facilitates gatherings, events, and activities to encourage wellness and socialization.

Qualifications

1. Licensed Practical Nurse with valid Wisconsin Nursing License.

2. Current certification in CPR and valid driver’s license.

3. Knowledge, understanding and ability to comply with Federal and State rules and regulations including the Code of Ethics of Nursing.

4. Geriatric experience preferred.

5. High level of integrity, knowledge and compassion for serving in the healing ministry.

6. Highly organized with excellent written and verbal skills, excellent computer skills and knowledge of programs, including internet and Microsoft 365.

7. Ability to be sensitive to others and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.

8. Good judgement with the ability to make sound decisions in collaboration with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
