Maintenance

This position is seasonal and 35+ hours a week.

Responsible for the daily up keep of the park. Some tasks include installing and repairing of various equipment within the park including new attractions. Maintaining the park grounds for the overall safety and appearance including mini golf greens and waterways as well as mowing grass. This position will work closely with park attendants to complete landscaping work. Picking up golf balls at the driving range daily. Assisting with the maintenance of go-karts including changing air filters and tires, checking oil, and cleaning the karts daily. Assistance maintaining the bumper boat pool including cleaning and checking of chemical levels daily. Assisting with the needed tasks for opening and closing of the season at the park. Some electrical and plumbing experience would be a plus. Job will include working evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a seasonal position which runs approximately May through October.

Essential Job Functions

· Help to maintain the equipment and attractions at the park

· Install necessary equipment as needed

· Work with park attendants to perform necessary grounds work including mowing grass, trash removal and landscaping when needed

· Perform routine maintenance on go karts, bumper boats, tractors, golf karts, kiddie rides, etc. as needed

· Monitor inventory for the go kart parts

· Complete daily checklist forms for all go karts and keep records on all go kart issues

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Reliable and self-motivated

· Ability to work in all-weather conditions

· Knowledge of small engines strongly preferred

· Ability to run a Compact John Deere tractor with attachments and a zero turn mower

· Some electrical and plumbing knowledge

· Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

· Enjoys working in a team environment
