Maintenance Mechanic - Entry Level 2nd Shift

Handi-Foil Corp., an industry leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of disposable aluminum bakeware has immediate openings for 2nd shift Manufacturing Entry Level Maintenance Mechanics at our Wheeling, IL. facility. Handi-Foil is a privately held company that has been in business for over forty years and has experienced continuous strong growth year after year.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; replace or fabricate parts as needed.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair failures of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on various machinery including Punch Presses, Thermoformers, Interfolders, and packaging equipment with relative independence.
• Complete all maintenance and repairs accurately, safely, and in a timely manner while following company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledgeable with machine control circuitry, PLC’s, servo drives, and motors.
• Poses proper tools and test equipment.
• Willing to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.

Compensation range of $28.00 - $34.00/hour depends on related skills and experience.
