Full job description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing various maintenance issues. This position also performs light repairs on houses and condos. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician ensures properties are fully functional prior to guest and owner arrivals by performing thorough inspections and necessary repairs.
The candidate must be self-driven and be able to work independently within the parameters of maintenance goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES – MAINTENANCE
- Take the initiative in preventive maintenance, identifying potential issues before they become problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Ensuring timely and high-quality work.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained, focusing on minor repairs and upkeep.
- Provide additional support during busy periods and cover shifts as needed.
- Ensure properties are fully functional prior to guest and owner arrivals by performing thorough inspections and necessary repairs.
- Utilize Breezeway software to document and note repairs made, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as needed to support the maintenance team and overall property management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance.
- Must be self-driven and be able to work independently within the parameters of maintenance goals.
- Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license and be able to drive from different locations for job tasks.
- Must be detail oriented and able to communicate clearly, verbally and written.
- Ability to work at least one weekend a week, holidays & on call is a must
COMPENSATION
- Competitive pay starting at $26-$29 an hour DOE
