Job Overview: This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our steel fabrication warehouse. Your expertise will help keep our equipment in optimal condition, maintain safety standards, and support our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on fabrication machinery, including welders, cutters, presses, and other equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, trash removal, and ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.
• Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards promptly.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including ordering and restocking maintenance supplies and parts. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
• Emergency Response: Respond to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize downtime and production delays.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to address any maintenance-related issues that affect their workflow. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
• Certification: Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or industrial machinery is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Safety: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial maintenance and steel fabrication.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various physical conditions, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the steel fabrication industry.
