As a Managed Care Billing & Collections Specialist, you will play a key role in driving accurate billing, strong collections, and consistent cash flow for skilled nursing facility (SNF) clients. You’ll work as an extension of our clients’ business offices—combining deep reimbursement knowledge with a proactive, results-driven approach to revenue cycle management.

What You’ll Do

Billing & Claims Execution

• Submit accurate, timely claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care payers
• Resolve claim edits, rejections, and denials through clearinghouse and billing systems
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and timely filing guidelines

Collections & Accounts Receivable

• Manage AR aging and perform proactive follow-up on unpaid claims
• Pursue resolution of denials, underpayments, and complex reimbursement issues
• Apply persistent, solutions-focused collection strategies to improve cash flow

Revenue Cycle Performance

• Identify trends impacting reimbursement and recommend improvements
• Support month-end processes, reporting, and key revenue cycle metrics
• Contribute to workflow improvements that reduce administrative burden and strengthen results

Client Partnership

• Collaborate with facility teams and internal experts to resolve billing challenges
• Deliver responsive, high-quality service as a trusted partner to SNF clients
• Help optimize business office processes so clients can focus on resident care

What You Bring

• 5+ years of SNF or long-term care billing and collections experience
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing
• Experience with billing systems and clearinghouse platforms including PointClickCare, Waystar, and Inovalon (MatrixCare a plus)
• Understanding of accounts receivable management and revenue cycle workflows
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong proactive mindset focused on client results

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
