Marketing Assistant (Full-Time)

Friendly Center, Inc. | Orange County, CA

Friendly Center is seeking a Marketing Assistant to help share the impact of our programs and engage the community through creative, consistent storytelling. This role supports social media, email marketing, website updates, and the design of digital and print materials.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and create content for social media platforms
Capture and edit photos and videos for programs and events
Update and maintain website content (WordPress)
Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and event promotions
Design flyers, graphics, templates, and other marketing materials
Support branding, campaigns, and on-site event coverage

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design (or equivalent education/internships)
Demonstrated graphic design skills; portfolio of work required (social media graphics, flyers, email layouts, etc.)
Experience with tools such as Canva (Adobe a plus)
Experience with social media platforms and basic analytics
Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to work on-site with occasional evenings or weekends
