Full job description

The Material Handler is responsible for the accuracy of component inventory through the verification of materials delivered versus the packing list. The Material Handler will support the flow of materials for outside processing.

1st Shift Monday – Friday 7am - 3pm

2nd Shift Monday – Friday 3pm – 11:30pm.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $16.50 - $18.00 per hour with a 10% shift differential. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

Essential Functions:

  • Tracks component inventory levels and verifies material delivered against shipment packing list, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Inputs and maintains accurate transactions in SAP.
  • Locates received materials in the warehouse as required.
  • Picks and puts assembly orders together as needed to support the production plan.
  • Fulfills in-house requisitions and delivers materials to proper areas.
  • Keeps accurate inventory records, performs cycle counts, completes scrap transactions and goods movements.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, abiding by company rules and safety regulations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education / Licensure / Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED, trade school certification a plus.
  • Two years of relatable warehouse/receiving experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions.
  • Strong organization skills with an attention to detail.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • General data entry and computer skills with the ability to input information, process transaction and verify data for accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Forklift License and OSHA Certification a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
