STRUCTURAL STEEL FABRICATORS

Augusta, Maine

Start your new career as a Material Handler/Rigger with CIVES Steel Company. As a Material Handler/Rigger, you will unload, load, move, gather, and arrange various structural steel components using our overhead crane system and other material-moving equipment in our steel manufacturing facility. This is a great entry level position with the opportunity for on-the-job training in a trade AND for quick advancement.

CIVES Steel Company is one of North America’s largest and most successful structural steel and plate fabricators! This is a direct-hire opportunity.

What We Are Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to learn and a desire to grow with a company.

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler/Rigger:

Operate various material-moving equipment including overhead cranes, jib cranes, hand carts, pallet jacks and use a wide variety of associated shop equipment and tooling throughout the facility.
Consistent walking and climbing are required as part of the material handling process.
