Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and proficiency in design software, particularly SolidWorks. The Mechanical Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life.

Duties

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Conduct system design analysis and simulations to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with project managers to create detailed project schedules and timelines.
  • Utilize CNC machining techniques for fabrication of prototypes and final products.
  • Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Work with logic controllers and Simulink for system integration and testing.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing insights on improvements and optimizations.
  • Document design specifications, processes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks; experience with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes and fabrication techniques.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Experience with Simulink or similar simulation software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
