Position Summary:
Struggle of Love Foundation is seeking a Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to oversee and support our mental health and wellness team. This role is responsible for providing clinical supervision, program development, and continuous process improvement, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role will also carry a small caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct practice, supervision, Medicaid billing, and community-based mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Supervision & Support
- Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed mental health professionals, interns, peer navigators and case managers.
- Conduct regular case consultations, ensuring ethical and effective treatment approaches.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, offering guidance on clinical interventions.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review, approve, provide suggestions and edits of clinical documentation, ensuring compliance
- Act as a rendering provider
Program Development & Implementation
- Support the development and implementation of mental health programs aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
- Assist with grant writing and reporting for mental health funding initiatives.
Client Services & Crisis Response
- Provide direct client support as needed, including crisis intervention and assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clinicians.
- Ensure a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach to care.
Collaboration & Training
- Facilitate training and workshops for mental health staff on topics such as trauma-informed care, self-care, and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance mental health resources.
- Represent the organization at coalition meetings, conferences, and public events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addictions Counselor, and/or equivalent in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience working with at-risk youth, underserved communities, and crisis intervention.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in nonprofit mental health services.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other relevant languages).
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing and insurance compliance.
