Gateway Children’s Services (GCS) is a nonprofit organization located in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. Our high-quality prevention and support programs are child-focused and family-centered. All evidenced services are designed to strengthen families, bring recovery to those struggling with mental illness or addiction, enhance parenting skills, and foster happy, nurtured children.

GCS is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to partner with families and youth in the community as they journey through crisis, stability, and long-term stability. The ideal candidate must have a desire to provide strength-based family centered services, a willingness to be a part of a strong, diverse community, and a passion to support children and families.

Duties include conducting individual and family therapy sessions. Candidates should have at least two years’ experience working with children/youth preferably providing trauma-specific services. Qualifications: Master’s Degree required and clinical license preferred (LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, etc.).
