Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver premium grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and styling for various breeds.
• Assess the coat and skin condition of pets to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Utilize proper animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure a safe and comfortable grooming experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and the grooming area.
• Communicate professionally with pet owners, offering expert advice on grooming maintenance.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming trends and best practices to enhance service quality.
• Utilize phone app to access the schedule, input pet notes and report card, and take payment from clients.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of professional pet grooming experience
• Demonstrated animal handling and restraint skills
• Knowledge of animal behavior and coat care for various breeds
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass the required background and driving record check
• Ability to work independently and provide exceptional customer service

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

This role requires mobility and attentiveness while working inside a mobile grooming van and at client locations. Groomers must be comfortable with:

• Standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind)
• Safely driving and stepping in and out of the van multiple times a day
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
