Summary

As a fast-growing company, we are expanding rapidly, particularly in Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) loans and foreign national lending. Our specialized expertise in these areas enables us to offer unique solutions to a diverse range of clients, solidifying our reputation as an industry leader in innovative mortgage products.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will manage the loan application process from start to finish, including sourcing your own leads, determining client needs, recommending the right loan products, and finalizing contracts. You will also evaluate potential risks in the application process while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Associate's degree or at least 2 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience in residential mortgage loan origination, including all phases of the process.
Licensed as a SAFE Act-compliant Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Strong knowledge of FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, VA, and private mortgage insurance requirements.
Comprehensive understanding of regulations such as TILA, RESPA, TRID, and state-specific mortgage laws.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proven customer service abilities with a proactive and motivated attitude.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively under pressure.
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and meet deadlines.
