Are you an experienced school bus driver looking to increase your earning potential? Earn more money with Colorado Tour Line! We are a local family-owned transportation company that has been in business for 49 years and we are looking for great, professional drivers with top-tier personalities to join our team! We aim to provide exceptional service while maintaining the highest level of safety. Weekend and holiday availability is extremely appreciated. This is a casual, seasonal, part-time position that could grow into a full-time career. We are ramping up for the busy season!

Applicants must be 25+ years of age with at least 3 years of commercial driving experience and must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. After passing a drug screen and background, all applicants must then pass a fingerprint-based criminal history background check and DOT physical. We are a drug-free company.

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a bus or van according to established routes and schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and alighting.
  • Educate passengers on safety protocols and bus rules.
  • Manage behavior effectively to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all passengers.
  • Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, routes, and any incidents that occur during transit.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding any issues or delays.
