POSITION TITLE: Quality Control Expeditor

SUPERVISED BY: Empire Commercial Superintendent

POSITION PURPOSE:

Effectively perform and manage all punch out duties on new construction properties throughout the completion phase of the construction process.

PRIMARY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Schedule and communicate with team members, subcontractors, and vendors.

● Manage internal walkthrough and quality control checklist

● Document, identify, perform, and resolve punch out lists

● Professional communication with subcontractors

● Conduct quality checks

● Other duties as assigned to ensure projects are on schedule.

● Ensure quality standards are achieved prior to occupancy

● General Labor duties are expected (i.e. site clean-up, material handling, ect.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

1-2 years of experience in construction and the home building industry

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS

● Preferred experience in construction

● Basic computer skills

● Able to collaborate with internal team, subcontractors and vendors

● Strong organizational and prioritization skills

● Attention to detail

● Must be dependable and trustworthy

● Ability to problem solve

● Insurable driving record

Full-time, week days,

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Physical:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an construction setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 75 lbs; to operate necessary equipment required to fulfill the needs of the job. No travel or weekends required.

Environment:

Work is performed primarily indoors and outdoors.
