Full job description

Alliance Music Therapy is seeking a Music Therapist – Independent Contractor to join our exceptional team. The position involves working with individuals of all ages in person within their home, at healthcare or mental health facilities, and remotely via telehealth.

*Contractors only, this is not an employee position.

Position Details

  • Start date: Immediately
  • Part time and full time client contact hours available
  • In-person delivery of service within client homes in the Elk River/Monticello central MN area and surrounding townships
  • Remote/Telehealth delivery of service
  • Locations include: Elk River, other Central MN townships, remote/telehealth
  • Flexible scheduling throughout the day based on therapist preferences and client availability; Monday through Friday
  • Client caseload involves working with children, teens, young adults to older adults with neurodevelopmental or genetic disorders, behavioral or mental health conditions, and medical diagnoses

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy
  • Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) credential
  • Possesses a car and is enthusiastic to meet clients in their homes and at facilities
  • Independent therapist who loves client-family work but doesn't want to deal with marketing, advertising, or running the behind the scenes tasks of a private practice

Preferred (but not required):

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working with the above individuals
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a private practice setting
  • Experience as an Independent Contractor Music Therapist
