Job description

Ecosystem Planning and Restoration, LLC, (EPR) has an open position for a full-time Natural Resources Manager in our Houston, TX office.

Our experience includes hundreds of stream & wetland restoration projects, design & construction, development of regional curves and reference reach data sets and monitoring of past projects to continually advance the science for Environmental Services. Our environmental planning services assist federal, state, municipal organizations, and private clients with their regulatory compliance needs. We have extensive experience with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related state regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Assist with continued growth of Natural Resources practice within the firm

· Assist with business development

· Collaboration with architects, planners, engineers, and other design professionals

· Leadership on QA/QC, natural resources planning and development, technical documentation and analysis, public involvement, client relationship

· Management of natural resources scientist/planners/biologist

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· At least 8 years of professional experience working as a natural resources manager

· Strong planning environmental analysis and documentation skills

· Knowledgeable of and have experience with NEPA (or other environmental processes), stream and wetland delineations and functional/conditional assessments, Section 10/401/404 permitting, and natural resource agency coordination

· Capable of working with engineer/design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction for project implementation and impact analysis for natural resources

· Lead teams to complete projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements

· Knowledge of natural systems design (stream and wetland design) a plus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelors or master’s degree in Natural Resources, or a related field, from an accredited university.
