Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy evaluations and treatments, creating customized care plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, and home exercise programs to promote long-term health and well-being.
- Collaborate with physicians, referring providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.
- Actively engage in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and technologies.
Results
- Achieve high patient satisfaction scores by delivering exceptional care and building strong therapist-patient relationships.
- Consistently meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high-quality standards in patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the clinic’s reputation as a trusted provider in the community by helping patients achieve measurable improvements in their physical function.
- Support the development of staff by sharing expertise and fostering a positive, team-oriented clinic environment.

Requirements
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Connecticut or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience: New graduates and experienced therapists are welcome to apply; manual therapy experience is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques, strong interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move patients, stand for long periods, and perform hands-on therapy techniques.
- Attributes: Passion for patient care, commitment to professional growth, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
