Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest services while managing front desk responsibilities. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
Duties
- Perform night audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing daily financial reports.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate records.
- Handle phone systems efficiently, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and professionalism.
- Assist guests with their needs, offering information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the night.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in night audit processes is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is beneficial.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences are essential.
