Full job description

Position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to $5,000

St Cloud Orthopedics has been providing specialized orthopedic care for nearly 70 years. We are a privately owned clinic, seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent injury care team. Full benefits are available to anyone working at least 30 hours per week.

Essential Duties will include:

Performs orthopedic screening and evaluation, assembles appropriate diagnostic tests for physician review, prescribes medications, educates patient and performs treatment as directed by physician.
Provides acute and chronic patient care including taking histories, giving injections and medications, performing sterile procedures, aspirations, pin removals and suturing, assisting in positioning patients for x-rays, and applying/removing casts, splints, orthotics and dressings.
Complies with clinic policies and procedures on regular work attendance.

Requirements:

Certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, BLS, and CPR certification required.
