Full job description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic practices demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals across diverse populations, assess, plan, treat, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, restore and/or improve function, alleviate pain and educate on management, increase strength, home exercise program education, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
This role involves working with clients in different settings, including outpatient providing tailored therapeutic interventions that promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Responsibilities will consist of, but not limited to:
- Perform thorough hand therapy evaluations according to state law, HTCC & AOTA standards and guidelines
- Establish a plan of care utilizing company designed treatment protocols in conjunction with EBP
- Provide EMR documentation in a timely manner to support treatment and treatment goals
- Evaluate patient outcomes to determine effectiveness of treatments
- Discharge patients appropriately and follow up with patients
- Direct occupational therapy aide(s) in the execution of care
- Participate in department meetings and participate in special projects within the department
Skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as time management skills
Sound critical reasoning skills
- Thorough knowledge of rehabilitation principles and Hand Therapy EBP
- Working knowledge of computer programs.
Required Education/Experience:
- University Degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
Orthopedics experience is highly desirable
- 3+ years’ experience providing occupational therapy in outpatient setting preferred.
- HTC and PAMs highly preferred, new grads may be considered
- Mentoring may be available for preparing for CHT
- Knowledge on orthotic fabrication is preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
