Full job description
This position provides administrative and strategic support to the CEO at Tygart Valley United Way. Working independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, this position performs a broad range of administrative, finance, and coordination duties.
Essential Functions
Reception/Administration
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
· Complete accurate and timely data entry as need, in various applications.
· Assist with preparing supplies and materials for workplace campaigns and presentations.
Finance/Fundraising
· Receive and prepare incoming invoices for approval and payment.
· Assist CEO with data entry into campaign tracking system, including pledge collections.
· Prepare deposits for bank and manages use of the check scanner system.
· Track credit card receipts and prepare for reconciliation.
· Oversee mailing of pledge reminders and year-end confirmation letters.
Operations
· Manage office supply inventory and place supply orders.
· Assist with general management of building
· Assist with communications and RSVP’s for Board of Directors and committee meetings.
· Assist CEO with other tasks related to management of organization.
Other
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Must have some experience working in office environment or equivalent.
· Must possess computer and good communication skills.
· Background check required.
Salary
Hourly, non benefits-eligible
$18.00/hour
20 hours per week
