Position Overview:
We’re looking for a remote Outside Sales Representative based in Upstate New York (Syracuse/Buffalo area) to focus exclusively on equipment and software sales within the land surveying and building construction sectors. This role is full-time and best suited for a self-starter with deep field knowledge and a passion for helping clients choose the right tools for the job.

Please Note: Candidates must have professional surveying experience. We will not consider applications without this background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with surveying and construction clients throughout the region
  • Focus on selling equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Stations, Lasers) and software solutions for fieldwork and office integration
  • Conduct remote and on-site product demonstrations and consultations as needed
  • Generate quotes, manage sales pipeline, and meet performance goals
  • Stay informed on the latest technologies in surveying and construction layout
  • Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to support the customer experience

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Professional experience in land surveying or construction layout (REQUIRED)
  • Strong understanding of both equipment and field-to-office software solutions
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong communication with clients and team
  • Excellent organizational, technical, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and email communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software platforms such as Leica, Carlson, SurvCE/PC, or Civil 3D
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
